EMPLOYEES
Clients and prospects are typically employers and their representatives (management-side attorneys, accountants, and human-resource consultants).
You may pursue your rights as an employee through contact with an enforcement agency, such as DOL-Wage and Hour Division or an agency of your state's government that is responsible for the administration of state minimum wage, overtime, and/or payday laws. Certain statutes give you the right to file suit; confer with a plaintiffs' attorney in this regard. A small-claims court suit (without an attorney) might be possible; inquire at your county or parish courthouse. Even if you can file suit without an attorney, it is best that you obtain legal advice prior to doing so. If back wages are substantial, having a competent attorney represent you is in your best interest.

The hourly rate and the deposit requirement will be discussed with you after you send an e-mail inquiry, call, or submit the contact form. If the fee ultimately is determined to have been over-estimated, the difference will be refunded to you promptly.
